Volume Mixer is the first Mac app on the list and it allows you to control system volume by application. Mute individual apps entirely or click Refresh to bring an app on. There's a hidden volume control in your Mac menu bar. Menu bar applications on Mac give you quick access to your most important settings. But with this trick, you can control even more from the.
After much troubleshooting I found a solution. The instructions here are for the FJ Cruiser, the big difference might be how your car handles the bluetooth phone volume so you may have to play with it a bit on your stereo - hopefully this gets you most of the way there:
Problem: Mac app id3 tags.
1) the music app automatically starts playing when radio is set to AUX, if you pause the music then the nav voice is stopped as well.

Solution - Google Maps:
1) turn car on
2) once the bluetooth connects to your phone, swipe up to open the 'control center' - here's info about control center in case you don't know what that is- iOS: Understanding Control Center
3) under the music app controls, on the right side is the 'airplay' option - this will only appear once the bluetooth is connected to the car's
4) select 'iphone speaker', now pause the music
5) set the head unit to radio, if you leave it on AUX, once the nav voice comes on afterward it will toggle the music app to play again.
5) the google voice will now come through via the handsfree system.
Bonus - you can now get directions while listening to the radio - when the nav voice comes on, it will silence the radio - just like it does for a phone call.
6) if you want silence/no radio just turn down the radio volume. Using the maps this way, the volume is controlled by the phine volume - not the radio volume.
Solution - Apple maps
Mac keystroke capture app best. Using apple maps is slightly more straight forward.
1) turn the car on
2) once the car's bluetooth connects to your phone's open the Apple Maps app
3) enter a destination - any destination and click start to start the navigation by pressing, 'start' in upper right corner.
4) once the navigation starts the route, click anywhere on the screen to bring up the options.
5) in the lower left corner of the screen is a little speaker icon - click that.
6) scroll down and turn on the option to allow hfs prompts. (Once you set this it will remain - so you only have to do this one time not every time you want to use maps.) here's an in depth article: New in iOS 7.1: Maps navigation prompts through your car?s stereo over Bluetooth
7) If you use Apple Maps with the head unit set to AUX and the music app paused - after the nag voice goes on and off it will un-pause the music app. So it works better to set it to radio and turn the radio volume down using the volume knob on the head unit.
Xbox emulator for mac. To control the volume of either the google maps or apple maps voice, when the voice is active use the steering wheel volume controls up or down - just like if you were on the phone.

To have a FaceTime call with one other person, you need a Mac with OS X Lion 10.7 or later, a broadband Internet connection, and a built-in or connected microphone or camera. Or use your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
To call a group of people, follow the steps in Use Group FaceTime on Mac.
Start a FaceTime call
The person you're calling doesn't need to have the FaceTime app open, but to receive the call on their Mac, iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, they do need to be signed in to FaceTime on that device. You can then call them using any phone number or email address they set up for FaceTime.
